Inpatient visits

An important part of hand therapy in many cases, is to begin exercising as soon as possible following surgery. Referring surgeons occasionally request hand therapy to begin prior to discharge from hospital.
Therapists at Geelong Hand Therapy have visiting rights at both St John of God Hospital and Geelong Private.
Inpatient visits often include splint fabrication, provision of an exercises program and initiation of oedema (swelling) reduction techniques.
